I will participate in Konstrundan next year, I have decided. This summer has filled me with inspiration. Learning the names of flowers and other plants. Looking in different books of the Nordic flora and seeing lots of variations of old illustrations of them. My sister gave me an idea of painting the ones that I had remembered and pointed out on one particular walk. Flowers you say? Nature, biology, reality? I will give it a go. A couple of specimens are Tanacetum vulgare (common tansy /renfana), Achillea millefolium (yarrow/rölleka), Artemisia vulgaris (mugwort/gråbo) and Melilotus albus (sweet clover/vit sötväppling).
