I will participate in Konstrundan next year, I have decided. This summer has filled me with inspiration. Learning the names of flowers and other plants. Looking in different books of the Nordic flora and seeing lots of variations of old illustrations of them. My sister gave me an idea of painting the ones that I had remembered and pointed out on one particular walk. Flowers you say? Nature, biology, reality? I will give it a go. A couple of specimens are Tanacetum vulgare (common tansy /renfana), Achillea millefolium (yarrow/rölleka), Artemisia vulgaris (mugwort/gråbo) and Melilotus albus (sweet clover/vit sötväppling).

update
Currently making the website more up to date. Preparation is the key for success I guess. Having fun learning more about wordpress and how to represent my art.
I have a few paintings that I’m working on right now and hope they will join the others for the exhibition in april. Also looking for things to paint on in the attic, nothing goes to waste!
Check out my sketches! Some interesting stuff there I think. A lot of it has worked as therapy. Get it out of my head you know.
